What We Do

VI ontheRUN was formed after witnessing the rapid growth on St. Croix and seeing that few people have enough time to take care of everything in their lives. Our mission is simple: to make your life easier. While living on St. Croix can be paradise, life moves at it’s own pace here – and we understand that your time is valuable. Let us do the work for you; whether it’s a one-time job or a re-occurring task, VI ontheRUN will get it done with professionalism and efficiency. If you don’t see a service that you need on our Menu, just ask! There’s not much we can’t do.

Judi Fricks (e-mail) founded VI ontheRUN in 2003 to meet the growing demand of residents and visitors who desired help navigating "life in the left lane." She originally moved to St. Croix with her family in 1982. She graduated locally from Lime Tree Academy and earned her BA in Communications from the University of North Florida. Back on St. Croix with her husband and daughter since 1999, Judi has many years of experience with navigating the systems, processes and culture of the Caribbean. The Virgin Islands are often referred to as “charmingly dysfunctional." Judi and her team work hard to put the "functional" in peoples' lives.

Judi is also very involved in the community; she is the Chairperson of the Citizen's Integration Team, a group that is a liaison between the Police Department and the Community, and is a Team Leader for the St. Croix Women's Initiative. She is also the VP of Parent Council for St. Croix Country Day School.

Valerie Kinney (e-mail) is a native of St. Croix. She has a BS in Psychology and minors in criminal justice, business, and fashion merchandising. After graduation, she became a manager and later, a district manager for Victoria's Secret. When the opportunity came it didn't take long for Val to pack her bags and head for paradise. Valerie's passion falls in the creative and artistic side of assisting our clients with everything from redecorating their homes and offices to personal shopping and reorganizing.

"The most rewarding part of this job is creating relationships with people from all walks of life and knowing that we are an integral part of them realizing their dreams. Our goal is to remove the stress and hassle from their life so they may enjoy what this beautiful island has to offer."

Emmy Zumwalt (e-mail) was a lifelong Texan. She graduated from Rice University where she studied Business Management and subsequently worked with non-profits and a software company. Emmy came to St. Croix in October 2005 with her husband and her two young children. A certified instructor for both yoga and water aerobics, Emmy offers twice weekly yoga on the beach or private yoga instruction. Her spare time is devoted to artistic outlets such as making hand-painted cards and invitations, and to adding mosaics to the bathrooms in the family's home. Sailing is a passion the whole family shares. Emmy is fluent in Spanish and lends to many aspects of making your life in paradise easier.
